My name is Patricia Kiel and I am the founder of BlueWave Holiday Homes Management.

My journey into holiday home management started rather accidentally and developed organically. What started out as assisting with cleaning jobs in friends' guest houses, would over time develop into a passion and eventually into a small business.

The biggest advantage I can offer my clients is trust. Holiday home management is not just about cleanliness and administration - it's about giving owners peace of mind that their property is in safe hands. This trust is the foundation on which my holiday home management business has been built.

Creating a clean, welcoming environment gives me a sense of satisfaction.

How long is the minimum contract period with BlueWave?
The minimum contract term is 1 year. During the trial period, we agree a period of 3 months with the option of cancelling immediately. Otherwise, the following contract terms are each designed for one year.
If there is a change of use of the property or the owner changes, the contract can also be cancelled within the contract term.

How can I use my holiday accommodation myself? Are there any costs involved? Are there any restrictions?
With BlueWave you can use your holiday home without restriction. Own use or marketing by the owner is possible at no additional cost to you. We can contractually define how the owner-occupancy is to be realised.

How are the keys handed over at the holiday home? Is it complicated for the guest?
The handover of keys should be as easy and convenient as possible, with access to the holiday accommodation and the greatest possible flexibility on arrival and departure.
Although a personal handover of keys is always considered as an option, in practice it proves to be impractical and undesirable for the contact parties for several reasons and is therefore not offered by BlueWave.
The solution is a key box with a code that is attached to the property. This allows the guest the greatest possible flexibility on arrival and departure.

How are final cleaning costs calculated?
We calculate the final cleaning costs in such a way that the cleaning can always be realised with first-class results, even with varying degrees of soiling. We calculate the costs on the basis of the size of the property, the number of rooms, the furnishings and the special equipment (sauna etc.). The calculation also includes cleaning materials and consumables for guests. These basic consumables include dishwasher tabs, toilet paper, tea towels, etc.
